Mobile storage, also known as mobile self-storage or portable storage, is a super-easy alternative to traditional self-storage. No renting a big truck, scheduling a specific day and time to pack, and then driving through traffic in an unfamiliar vehicle to an unfamiliar location and then unloading. While the containers come in various sizes and store the same amount or more than a unit at a self-storage facility, the containers are brought to you and picked up on your schedule.

Payment is by major credit card. It is debited monthly. Because of our flexible system, you are billed on a monthly basis based on your container delivery date. If you are a contractor or a business customer, please contact us about alternate billing arrangements.
We have no time limit. That is the beauty of mobile storage. You decide how long you want to have the container. You decide when to load and unload and how much time you want take.
Additional coverage is available via our Storage Protectors Insurance Program. Premiums start at $16 per month for $2,000 and increase based on how much coverage you select. Coverages up to $15,000 is available. Ask the COWs representative for more details while making your reservation !
Typically, you only need to book one day in advance.

Yes. When you book your container, we will provide options for purchasing boxes and blankets and renting dollies or hand-trucks. These items will be delivered along with your container, so you have everything you need to get moving. We want to make this super easy and convenient for you!
You will be required to supply your own lock for your container while you are renting it.
Our containers are allowed almost everywhere, however, check with your local government or HOA to find out if you need a permit or are subject to specific rules, such as time limitations for parking a container in front of your house.
Our truck will drop off the storage container at your house or business. Once you pack it with all your stuff, you can keep it on your property for as long as you want or have us pick it up and take it back to our secure fenced-in outside facility. If you are moving or relocating, then we will take the container from your house, or our secure fenced-in facility, to the location of your choosing.
Yes! Just call us, and we will deliver your container back to your house. Once you are finished with it, we will pick it up again. The second way to access your stuff is to come to our secure facility in New Castle, DE. Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice and we will ensure you have access to your container. This is available Monday thru Friday during daylight hours.
Payment will be taken when you book your portable storage container.
Absolutely, because of the variety of our container sizes and our precision delivery system, we have no problem serving apartments, townhomes and condos. Check with your management and HOA for specific rules about moving. Generally, our containers can fit wherever you can park a car.
Yes, it is typically determined by your zip code and designed to cover transportation costs. It works like this: delivery, pick-up, redelivery.
We strive to provide next day delivery if at all possible. COWs of Delaware is a local company and we want to customize our service as much as possible for you.
No, just be sure and have the space designated for the container clear and accessible. We will call you the day before we arrive and again 30 minutes before we arrive to confirm the logistics.
Sorry. We are closed on the weekends and holidays. However, we will make every effort to deliver your container to you on Friday afternoon for that weekend loading or unloading!
Most jurisdictions allow containers on the street but check with your locality or Homeowners Association (HOA) to determine if you need a special permit or for other restrictions. You will also need to make sure that there are no vehicles blocking the parking spaces on the street when we come to deliver the container and pick it up.
No problem. One of our preferred moving vendors can help you. Just let us know when you are booking a container and we can connect you to them.
Yes. No motor vehicles or gas-powered equipment of any kind. No hazardous materials or chemicals. We also recommend that you do not store family heirlooms, expensive artwork or paintings, or other items that are easily damaged and potentially irreplaceable. Lastly, no living things, including you!
Most people don’t come close to our weight limits, and we have the strongest containers in the business. Our 8’ and 16’ containers can hold up to 5,000 lbs approximately for the 16' size or 2,500 lbs. for the 8' size.
